Your questions
-
When and where will I volunteer?
Missions run from 30 July to 16 August 2027: some take place before and after the competitions, during set-up and dismantling. Competitions take place from 2 to 15 August at Palexpo and at public locations across Geneva.
-
How many shifts do I need to do?
At least 4 shifts. A shift is a morning or an afternoon, so you never work full long days. You tell us your availability when you register.
-
Do I need experience or knowledge of Para sport?
No, not for most roles. You receive a short training before the event. For a few sport-specific roles, knowledge of the sport is a plus.
-
Can I choose my role?
You can share your preferred roles when you register. We do our best to match your wishes with your skills, languages and availability.
-
Is there a minimum age?
Yes, you must be 16 or older on 30 July 2027. Some sport roles, such as ball kids, are open to younger volunteers.
-
Which languages do I need to speak?
French first. English is a real plus and German a small plus.
-
What will I wear?
We provide your official volunteer outfit.
-
Are meals provided?
Yes, meals and snacks are provided during your shifts.
-
Are travel and accommodation covered?
Travel and accommodation are not covered by the organization. Please note that volunteering is unpaid.
-
Can I watch the competitions?
Of course! Outside your shifts, you are welcome to enjoy the events from the stands.
-
I have a disability or specific needs. Can I volunteer?
Absolutely. You can tell us about your specific needs in the registration form or email epc27@benevoles.events. We will find the right role and set-up with you.
-
Can we sign up as a group?
Yes, clubs, companies, schools and associations are welcome. Contact us for a group and we will get back to you.
-
Will I be filmed or photographed?
The event is filmed and photographed. By volunteering, you agree that you may appear in images and videos.
