Preparations for the European Para Championships2027 continue to gain momentum. In Geneva, representatives from the Canton, major institutions and strategic partners met with the European Para Championships leadership to align on the event’s development across all functional areas.
The meeting focused on:
- A comprehensive organisational update across sport, operations, marketing and communications
- Identifying potential partnerships and collaborative opportunities
- Presenting the long-term value and opportunities the event offers to local actors in Geneva
As Europe’s premier multi-sport event for para-athletes, EPC 2027 aims not only to deliver world-class competition, but also to generate sustainable impact — economically, socially and institutionally.
With strong venue infrastructure, tourism expertise and institutional commitment, Geneva is uniquely positioned to host an event of this scale and ambition.
The European Para Championships are built on a clear principle: athletes come first. By working closely with local stakeholders, we are creating an inclusive platform that celebrates performance, drives innovation and builds a lasting legacy for para-sport across Europe.
Together, we are building the ultimate stage.
