DPG Media, the largest media house in the Netherlands, will be media partner of the European Para Championships (EPC). From 8 to 20 August 2023, ten different parasports will compete in Rotterdam for the European Championships. Partly thanks to this partnership, the event will be presented to a wide audience in an impressive and impactful way.
Strengthen position among sports fans
Rhian Ket, Partnership Manager of DPG Media, stresses the importance of the partnership: “AD has been the number one sports newspaper for years. With a partnership like this, we strengthen our position among sports fans even further. In addition, sports fans can enjoy the whole year. AD and the regional titles bring news and entertainment around sports all year round. The partnership with European Para Championships fits in perfectly with this.
In the coming period, advertisements and content will be published through various DPG channels, both online and offline, to raise public awareness of the European Para Championships.
Strong content presentation
Jeroen Straathof, tournament director of the EPC, is also enthusiastic: “Thanks to our cooperation with DPG Media, we can present parasport, and thus the European Para Championships, in a substantively strong way to a large audience. We are extremely happy with the huge reach of the AD, both in the Rotterdam region and in the rest of the country. And the online reach through platforms such as AD.nl and NU.nl. Together, we ensure that paratop sport gets the attention it deserves.”
The European Para Championships is a unique event that brings together 10 different parasports.
