Para Badminton

Para badminton players compete in singles (men/women), doubles (men/women) and mixed doubles. The rules and regulations for Para badminton are based on standard ‘Laws of Badminton’.

Para badminton has been contested internationally since the 1990s, with the first World Championships taking place in the Netherlands, in 1998.

63 countries across five regions currently practice Para badminton.
